Midwest Facial Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Skin Care is a subspecialty practice of Midwest Ear Nose and Throat Specialists, the longest-standing Head & Neck surgical practice in St. Paul.

Cosmetic Surgery – Dr. Christopher J. Tolan
Dr. Tolan graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery.
In medical school he became interested in plastic surgery after observing children with congenital facial deformities such as cleft lip and palate that had undergone repair. Intrigued by the apparent magical ability to restore a child’s cleft lip with surgery, Dr. Tolan decided to dedicate his residency training and clinical practice to reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the face and neck.
Dr. Tolan completed a fellowship in facial plastic & reconstructive surgery at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California. He then returned to the Minneapolis/ St. Paul Twin Cities Area to practice all aspects of facial plastic surgery. He has received Board Certification from two prominent organizations: the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery.
Aesthetic Skin Care
Jennifer Baskin
Jennifer is the full-time aesthetician for our Woodbury location. Jennifer received her training from Scot Lewis and the International Dermal Institute in 2004. She has worked in various medi-spas and clinics around the Minneapolis/St Paul area. Jennifer received her Paramedical Aesthetician certification in 2005 and now specializes in a variety of procedures including: chemical peels for aging, acne, and hyperpigmentation, permanent makeup, microdermabrasion, waxing, laser hair removal, and makeup application. She is also a freelance makeup artist for weddings, photo shoots and Twin Cities makeup events. Jennifer is a member of the AAE (Advanced Aesthetic Education Group of Minnesota) and a Member of NCA (National Cosmetology Association).
Tata A. Faber
Tata is a part-time aesthetician at our Eagan location. In 1998 she completed her training at the Aveda Institute. She has dedicated herself to on-going training, recently receiving her CIDESCO Diploma, which is an elite international certificate for aestheticians. She is one of only a few other individuals in the state to have successfully completed this advanced training.
She is a medically trained aesthetician specializing in skin pigment irregularities, facial lines and wrinkles, and acne. She also has trained extensively in permanent make up. Tata is secretary for the Minnesota chapter of the American Association of Aesthetic Education. She is also a member of the American Academy of Micropigmentation and the Society of Permanent Makeup Professionals.
Emily Forti
Emily is an Esthetician at both our Woodbury and Eagan offices. Emily received her esthetics training from Pierre's School of Cosmetology in Portland, ME in 2004. She came to us from a spa in the Minneapolis area.
Emily specializes in facials, chemical peels and waxing, as well as makeup application, microdermabrasion and laser hair removal.
